What’s the difference between Anti-Vandal Switch and push button switch?

Anti-Vandal Switch is a category of push button switch, it’s often referring to metal push button switch(The Actuator and Housing is metal made). Metal switches are hard wearing and ideal for devices which require repetitive/high usage, for example, pedestrian crossings, coffee machines, lifts, door entry systems or even push to start button engine in cars.

In addition to the appearance of the difference, the other difference is that Anti-vandal Switches are all waterproof, IP65, IP67 or IP68, and Anti-Vandal Switches with 50000 cycles Long life.

1. Our metal switches’ Cut-out Mounting diameters included 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, 19mm, 22mm, 25mm, 30mm, and 40mm.
2. LED options: LED Illumination of Ring, Dot, Power Logo, or Custom Symbols with Single Color, Bi-Color or RGB Triple Color. Alternatively, all metal push button switches are available without LED illuminated.

Switch Function: Momentary or Latching(Alternate) for your selection. Momentary means the actuator of switch returns immediately when releasing the finger after pressed. Latching metal push button switch means that when it’s first pressed, the central part of the switch stays down (latched) and requires to be pressed again to return to its normal state.
